Who Plows the Roads?

The Association is responsible for snow removal on roads in and surrounding the townhome areas, as well as the sidewalks and crosswalks leading to Pinebrook Elementary School. Please email the management office with any issues related to these areas. Advantage Landscape will be performing plowing and sidewalk operations throughout the duration of the storm.

VDOT is responsible for snow removal on all single-family home roads. Residents may determine who maintains their road by reviewing the Road Maintenance Map. If your road is maintained by VDOT, please report any concerns directly to VDOT at 800-367-7623.

What Are the Road Conditions?
For the latest report on area road conditions, go to Virginia 511 or call 511 for traffic information from the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Sidewalks
Homeowners are responsible for clearing snow from all sidewalks adjacent to their homes, not just the sidewalk in front of their homes; Chapter 1022.01 of the Loudoun County Codified Ordinances requires sidewalk snow removal on properties that are adjacent to public streets.

Bus stops & School Walking Routes
As noted above, if a bus stop or walking route is located on a sidewalk adjacent to a homeowner’s property, that homeowner is responsible for clearing the snow.
